On the 1st July 2006 we welcomed to Sherborne the P-D Group
president Mr Preiss-Daimler who came to celebrate the inauguration
of the new 3 metre wide ALPHA Coating Line.
Over the last ten
years, substantial investments have been made to provide the
Sherborne plant with state-of-the-art machines to meet the
requirements demanded by our customers all around the world.
Together with the Mayor of Sherborne, Mr Preiss-Daimler
officially opened the new machine which is one of the most
modern coating lines in Europe, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
It was one of the hottest days of the year but thankfully
there was plenty of refreshment and the band played on!
